Decin and its surroundings have plenty to offer visitors, active vacationers, history buffs, and families. Kocanda is located right on the Elbe cycling trail near the Elbe River itself, so it is a great place to take off from for a bike trip or a day of rafting or boating. It is near Decin Castle, the zoo, a fantastic via ferrata, and the scenic outlook on Shepherds Bluff. Decin is centrally located for extraordinary nature areas – the Elbe Sandstones Landscape Preserve and Bohemian Switzerland National Park.
